01 Product Overview & Primary Use
High compressive strength flooring designed to withstand static and dynamic rolling wheel loads while eliminating ground frost heaving.
Engineered for heavy-duty cold room floor logistics, Cold Room Floor Insulation Systems bonds 40–42 kg/m³ rigid PUR core with heavy-duty anti-slip wiremesh birch plywood (9–15mm) or checkered steel plating. Rated for 2,000–4,000 kg/m² static uniform loads and intensive transpallet wheel impacts, eliminating ground frost-heave risks with an integrated vapor barrier.
02 Floor Panel Layer Structure, Plywood & Load Geometry
Cold room floor panels are produced in 1000 mm modular widths and 80mm to 200mm thicknesses. The top load-bearing surface features 9mm, 12mm, or 15mm non-slip phenolic wiremesh birch marine plywood or patterned steel plate. Eccentric perimeter cam-locks lock floor panels flush together without height steps, in lengths from 2.00m to 8.00m.
- ▪ Modular Width: 1000 mm (1.00 m)
- ▪ Floor Surface Layer: 9–15 mm Wiremesh Birch Marine Plywood / Checker Plate
- ▪ Joint Mechanism: Kam Kilitli Ağır Yük Birleşimi
03 Floor Load Layers, Plywood & Insulation Core
Cold room floor panels combine high-pressure laminated anti-slip wiremesh birch plywood (9-15mm) or checkered steel with a 40–42 kg/m³ PUR/PIR insulation core. Engineered to withstand intense manual pallet truck wheel loads without compressive failure, with an underside galvanized steel vapor barrier.
04 Non-Slip Marine Plywood & Floor Steel Structure
The upper surface of cold floor panels incorporates phenolic film birch plywood with a DIN 51130 Class R10 anti-slip wiremesh pattern. Does not absorb moisture or delaminate. For heavy pallet loads, it can be surfaced with embossed galvanized teardrop plate or 1.50mm AISI 304 stainless steel plate, with a bottom 0.50mm steel vapor barrier.

06 Standard Hygienic Colors & Stainless Steel Finishes
Cold room panels and doors are supplied with Food Safe antibacterial RAL 9002 coated steel and AISI 304 stainless steel facings as standard according to HACCP hygiene regulations.
07 Food Hygiene, Safety & Thermal Insulation
Surfaced with phenolic resin birch plywood meeting DIN 51130 Class R10 slip resistance, preventing occupational slips in wet cold storage conditions while complying with HACCP hygiene regulations.
40–42 kg/m³ rigid PUR/PIR core with integrated steel eccentric cam-locks guarantees airtight joints with zero thermal bridging, cutting refrigeration energy bills by up to 40%.
08 Assembly & Joint Detailing
1. Ground Heating (Frost-Heave Prevention): For sub-zero freezers, subfloor vapor barriers and heating cables are installed over the concrete slab to prevent ground freezing.
2. Interlocking Floor Panels: Panels faced with non-slip wiremesh birch marine plywood are clamped tightly using internal eccentric cam-locks.
3. Wall-to-Floor Junctions: Perimeter wall panels lock into floor panels, sealed with curved sanitary baseboards.
4. Entry Ramp & Kickplates: Heavy-duty transition ramps and checker-plate protection are installed at door thresholds.
09 Applications & Market Sectors
10 Logistics: Truckload & Container Stuffing
Cold room floor insulation panels have higher dead weight due to 9–15mm wiremesh plywood facings. Subject to trailer payload limits, a standard 13.60m trailer accommodates approx. 550 m² of 80mm, 450 m² of 100mm, 380 m² of 120mm, or 300 m² of 150mm floor panels.
In 40ft High Cube containers with ISPM-15 dunnage, approx. 420 m² of 80mm, 340 m² of 100mm, 280 m² of 120mm, or 220 m² of 150mm wiremesh plywood floor panels can be loaded safely up to container weight limits.
